Copernicus Masters 2018 competition

Awarding outstanding Earth Observation ideas and applications to tackle challenges faced by business and society, the Copernicus Masters 2018 competition is now open for submissions.

The deadline for submission is 30 June 2018.

Together with cash prizes, winners will receive access to an international network of leading Earth observation organisations, satellite data quotas and business development support worth a total of more than €600 000.

The challenges cover topics such as environmental monitoring, transportation logistics, agriculture and forestry, civil security, cloud computing and mobile services, as well as the use of high-resolution satellite imagery and radar data.

In the past seven years, Copernicus Masters selected 50 winners out of more than 2700 applicants from more than 50 countries, who submitted some 1100 cutting-edge business ideas.

The competition is organized by the European Space Agency and Anwendungszentrum GmbH Oberpfaffenhofen.
