Job Offer Tool

The Job Offer Tool (JOT) allows users to create job and training offers in the field of Earth Observation and Geographic Information.
These offers can be based on an occupational profile – a prototypical function description in the field – or created from scratch. Job offers use the EO4GEO BoK to precisely describe EO/GI-specific concepts and skills, and the European Skills/Competences and Occupation (ESCO) classification for transversal skills.
For a better dissemination, the Job Offer Tool allows sharing and exporting a job offer in different formats.
To register or not to register? All tools are available for viewing and exploring as an anonymous user. However, to create and save your own content, you need to register and join (or create) your organization. You can register in the Login page, either by signing up with a valid email address, or by using your existing gmail account. You join or create your organization in the Organization page from the dropdown menu. User accounts and organizations are shared between all the tools, which means you can use the same user and password for all the tools.
Your created content can be made publicly (for everybody) or privately (only for organization members) visible.
Target audiences: HR offices from private companies, public institutions, or academia.
Examples of use:
- An SME looking for an expert on remote sensing applied to agriculture creates a job offer to seek for candidates.
- A University offers its annual available internships for EO/GI students by the duplication of an existing internship offer.
