EO4GEO at the ESA Living Planet Symposium

EO4GEO will be at the ESA Living Planet Symposium 2019! These conferences  are among the biggest Earth Observation events in the world: this year, the event will be held in Milan on 13-17 May 2019 at MiCo – Milano Congressi and will also focus on Earth Observation’s role in creating a resilient society, able to reply to forthcoming environmental challenges.

EO4GEO will organize a side event (“Towards an innovative skills strategy for EO/GI sector“), planned as a consultation meeting with experts in the field of Earth Observation. This will be a great opportunity to discuss and enrich the concept in the developing Body of Knowledge (BoK) with the input from EO experts. The possibility of exchanging the ideas on the BoK will significantly enhance its quality as well as in the long term will contribute to the successful implementation of a sustainable strategy on filling the gap between the supply of and demand for education and training in EO/GI field. The event will take place on Friday 17 May from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Moreover, on Wednesday 15 May EO4GEO will run a poster session (from 5.20 pm to 7:00 pm) and will be mentioned in the EO Education session (C.7.01 Open Science, from 10:40 am to 12:20 pm) where our current project results will be revealed.

To register for the EO4GEO side event fill the form.
